Since we went in August, the sky threatened us with rain all day. Still, it was beautiful. This is not a place I'd go for a serious hike, but a good place to take the family or just relax and walk around in. We walked all through the central garden area, looking at the towering rocks. They're all around you!
It's scenic and offers a lot of smaller trails nearby. We got to explore some the many little trails and climb some rocks. The roads makes everything very easy to get to, allowing you to drive around for the sights. In a random trail we followed, we even kept intersecting with the road.
Although the hiking in this area is very easy, the beauty makes it worth it! Everyone in Colorado should visit it at least once. If I were to go again, I would find the trails I want to visit beforehand - I'd hit up multiple trails and paths.
