When I went in January, I was with a bunch of friends and we were all different levels. We managed to ski several runs together before splitting off for a bit.
American Eagle and American Flyer chairs both had some great options. Although these chairs take you all the way to the bottom, they are good to start off and end the day. If you're tired of skiing all the way down just to go all the way back up, make your way to Timberline Express lift. It offers mainly blues with a couple greens, but doesn't take you all the way to the bottom.
Excelerator is another lift that doesn't take you all the way down. This one has black and blue runs and can take you to a more challenging side of the mountain. Although Copper has more blues and greens than blacks, it still offers some bowls and black run lifts.
Overall, Copper is a great place to save money and ski with friends or family. Plus, the views never hurt. Colorado never disappoints.
